“ Hidden GEM ! This is now My favorite spot to eat Menudo! The meat is very tender and the broth is super tasty! IYou get it with warm Handmade tortillas, absolutely must try if you are in the area. Will not disappoint. I also had their Champurrado and it was hot and thick very delicious definitely recommend trying. They have a large variety of different foods on their Menu, the Service is Great! They are very friendly and will be coming back in to try more of their menu options. ”

“ This is the third year that we've ordered our masa preparada for tamales from El Mercadito. It's affordable, convenient, and (most importantly) delicious! Christmas is prime tamale-making season, so you do have to be prepared for a wait. We always order a few days ahead of time and this year, we needed to order in person. They have previously taken orders over the phone, but we couldn't get through this year (I suspect that they disconnect the phone because of how busy they are). Ordering in-person takes some time, but it's worth it! Even though they're clearly slammed, the employees are always very friendly and kind. The masa has great consistency and always works well for us. We love our annual trip to El Mercadito! ”
